Wordless Wednesday #54 ~ Puppy Kisses!

An EMT in the Family!

 Kyle is starting his job as an EMT today, and I am SO proud of him!!  He has worked really hard to get to this place and I know he will do GREAT!!  He is such a great kid with ambition and charisma...I know he will succeed in this life.  I am blessed and honored to be his Mama!!

Newport Beach Fire Explorers

 We are very proud that Kyle is a part of the Newport Beach Fire Explorer program.  He learns SO much each week and is being mentored by a group of fantastic men.  A couple of months ago they had an Open House at one of the stations and the Explorers helped to serve and help with the crowd.

 Holly came along with us...she loved seeing Kyle in his uniform.  He is SO handsome!!

 Darrell, Kyle, and Grammy.  Kyle told us all about all of the truck and engines, he knows what EVERY dial, guage, door, and tool is used for and how to assemble and disassemble each thing.  It's amazing how organized and detailed every single aspect is.  They are certainly prepared for every type of emergency and have prepared and practiced over and over!

 Kyle and his friend Bryce...they were on the High School baseball team together.  He is a great kid!

 We had a great time at the Open House and learned a lot about the program and what Kyle does.  Kyle has a passion for the fire fighting profession.

Happy 19th Birthday KYLE!

We all went to Joe's Crab Shack to eat to celebrate Kyle's 19th birthday! We had such a great time. Our family of 4, plus Diane and Larry, Danae, and Mom and Larry!

New Employee

Kyle has his first day as a Best Buy employee today...HOORAY!!

We are proud of him and he looked so handsome when he left this morning!! After training he'll get to wear the "blue shirt"!

Social Distortion!!

Nathan went to his first "BIG" concert last night...to see Social Distortion, which is Kyle's favorite band. Darrell loves music, so he did not mind taking the boys to the show!!

They looked SO CUTE...I bet the girls there were trying to get their numbers!! They had a great time and arrived home after midnight! I'm so happy that Darrell has passed on his love of music to our boys! What did I do last night? Went to the market and did laundry...party animal!

I know I've neglected my blog for the past couple of months, when life gets busy something has to give and unfortunately...it's usually my blog and my gardening! I'm going to try harder to update on a regular basis...

My signature "shoe shot"...hope all is well with all of us. Happy Sunday...off to a baseball game!!

We were so excited to have Mom (aka Grammy) on our cruise with us! Kyle and Nathan just adore her and love her SO MUCH!! She plays a huge part in both of their lives and is a best friend to them! The picture above is shortly after arriving on the ship.
