Nails, Shopping, and Dinner...a Great Day!!
Today was a GREAT day...
This is Tracy, she does my nails every few weeks. She is such a sweet, shy lady and I adore her. She has been doing my nails for years, and she does a great job!
Beautiful!
Then, I headed to the Mall ALL BY MYSELF! I had some Pretzel Bitz and walked around...I tried on some clothes, but didn't buy any! At home...my carpet was being cleaned. Oh happy DAY!!
The bookstore in the Mall was closing, so everything was on sale! Yippee! I browsed for a long while and ended up buying a Fashion book. Why? Because I wanted to!
I left the Mall and had about 30 minutes before I needed to pick up Nathan, so I stopped at World Market. I could walk around in there for hours. I spent a lot of time in the chocolate aisle

How Is Nathan Feeling??
We went the doctor today for an asthma re-check and because his fever was still over 102 last night, but he was improving slightly. The Dr. told me he "most likely" has the H1N1 virus, but they did not test him because they are treating him already. And Nathan is done with Drs. and tests! Thanks for the prayers and phone calls, especially to Aunt Donna and Grammy!
Above is a picture of the jeans we picked up today (after being tailored) at Nordstroms today. Thanks Grammy for the beautiful jeans. You spoil him...oh you spoil both of them really badly!! We love you!!

Mexican Market
I LOVE stopping by the Mexican market near my school. I usually see some of my families shopping. I could spend an hour looking at all of the stuff and practicing my Spanish.
These are some of the spices. The store is not very large, but they have every spice I have ever heard of. This is only about 1/3 of the total spices they carry.
And, tons of dried chiles...also dried shrimp, corn, fruit...
An entire wall of tortillas. When we bought them yesterday, they were still warm!!
Last night Mom and Larry came over for dinner. We had Carne Asada and Carne Pollo...muy bien! They have a beautiful meat counter and everything is priced great!!

Spending Gift Cards
The finale to Nathan's Birthday celebration...a day of spending his gift cards. He had such a great time picking out things to spend his "money" on. Some things that I would not have chosen for him. He is a very particular kid and knows exactly what he wants and likes.
Here he is with some of his "loot."

Christmas Bargains!
I stopped by Target this morning. Check out this gorgeous Advent Calendar! I've always wanted one of these, and had my eye on this one in particular last month (I love Mercury Glass), but it was $40. I didn't want to spend that much, but today I went down the Christmas Clearance aisle and there it was...75% off. My heart started racing as I snatched it up and put it into my cart. I also got some too cute Christmas ornaments and cards for next year. SO glad i stopped by...did you get any great Christmas bargains.

Shopping and Boobs?!?
We are staying at Sunset Station, it is a beautiful hotel. There just happens to be a "Hooters" Restaurant in the Casino area. Kyle's friends have talked to him about "Hooters", but we've never been...until today. Hey, the food was good...really good.
Okay, now we're off to baseball games. He has back-to-back games at 5:30 and 7:30, then games tomorrow and maybe Sunday. We're gonna freeze our butts off tonight!!
Hope you and Yours had a great turkey day!

"Home" Sign...Cheap!
I bought this "Home" sign last week at Big Lots, formerly Pic-N-Save. I had not been there in a LONG while and stopped in to get Halloween favors for my class. They had some nice stuff...even furniture! This sign is metal and beautifully distressed, I didn't do anything to it, just sat it in the window sill. Guess how much it cost? $14.
